Condolences for the Victims of the Maui Wildfires
Many lives were lost and many people are suffering from the large-scale wildfires that recently swept the island of Maui in Hawaii. On behalf of Nichiren Shu, I would like to pray for the souls of those who lost their precious lives and express my heartfelt sympathy to everyone who was affected by the disaster.
I sincerely pray for the safety of those who are missing and their immediate rescue, and the safety of those engaged in rescue activities. For those suffering from the effects of the disaster I sincerely pray for peace and speedy reconstruction and hope the missing are quickly found, and that reconstruction of the disaster stricken areas will happen immediately without delay.
We pray that peace returns to the hearts of those affected by the disaster, and hope the security of daily life will be restored.
