Statement on the Military Conflict in the Middle East

 

We express our deepest condolences for the lives lost in the ongoing military conflict in the Middle East.

Nichiren Shu upholds the spirit of reverence for all existence — "With You, For All" — and is committed to the Rissho World Peace Movement, realizing the welfare of all beings through the teachings of the Lotus Sutra.

We stand firmly against all use of military force and strongly urge an immediate resolution through peaceful dialogue.
