令和７年３月２８日ミャンマー中部で発生したマグニチュード７．７の地震被害において、被災されましたすべての方々に、心よりお見舞い申し上げます。

また、尊い“いのち”をなくされました方々のご冥福をお祈りいたします。

多くの方々が負傷され、未だに行方のわからない方々もおられるようです。

迅速な救助活動により1人でも多くの“いのち”が救われる事を切に願っております。

日蓮宗は“いのち”を敬い、尊重する考えから「いのちに合掌」を布教方針として掲げております。

被災された方々の「いのちに合掌」し、１日も早く安寧な日常が戻りますことを心よりお祈り申し上げます。

Statement of Condolence for the Myanmar Earthquake

On March 28, 2025, a magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck central Myanmar. On behalf of Nichiren Shu, I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to all those affected by this disaster.

I also offer our prayers for those who have lost their precious lives.

Many people have been injured, and there are still those who remain missing. I earnestly hope that as many lives as possible will be saved through swift rescue operations.

May peaceful daily life return as soon as possible to all those affected by this disaster.
